This annual village event takes place over a weekend in the Summer. Visitors follow a trail of Scarecrows through the village and try and guess who the scarecrows are! Each year there is a theme for the scarecrows such as  'Pop Songs'. There are prizes for the Best, Most Innovative and Funniest representations plus as always a prize for whoever guesses the most correctly.

Scarecrow Builders:

If you live or are staying in Solva, why not build a scarecrow? There are prizes for the best, scariest and funniest scarecrow. It is possible to have a stall either with or without a scarecrow. This can be promoting or selling something. The proceeds from the stalls can be used by the stall holder as they see fit.

In 2007 there were 19 Scarecrows and a year later there were 24. For more information please contact Fran Barker tel. 01437 721164
